Press the pin inward and turn clockwise to lock it in the open position. Force out as much air as possible by pressing on the tub. Next, flip the hose to the suction side of the pump. Use the pump to suck out the remaining air. Remove the pump and turn the pin back up counterclockwise so air can't re-enter. Allow the tub to dry fully before storing to prevent mold growth.
